About Us
Collision is the combined talents of Ben Foley and Chris Hopewell.
In 2002 Ben and Chris decided to create Collision Films, a company under which they could work and develop all kinds of animation and film making ideas within their own ethos. Almost immediately Collision Films became successfully established within the world of music promos.
Egging each other on like giddy school boys, they created memorable and award-winning music videos for bands including Radiohead, Franz Ferdinand, Scissor Sisters, Mark Lanegan, Elbow, McFly and a bunch more.
In 2004 Collision’s Radiohead Promo “There There” received four MTV nominations for Best FX, Editing, and Photography and won Best Art Direction.
Collision have also shot commercials both in the U.K and the U.S for major clients like Hersheys, Mandalay Bay Hotel Casino, and most recently Honda-Acura, for whom we created the world’s largest stop-frame animation across a 100ft wall.
Collision is currently represented for commercials by Epoch Films UK & USA.
